This morning! I have cried because of the videos I’ve seen.. I’ve gone as far as reaching out to Kate Henshaw, Iyabo Ojo And Real warri pikin to see how we can get ACTIVE and protest about this!! I will never understand why BEING A WOMAN is a crime in this part of the world. ENOUGH is ENOUGH! It’s enough that society is highly misogynistic and we practice toxic patriarchy in this country. The society is 95% controlled by men. Is that not enough power? You control almost everything in this country. Is that not enough power for the Nigerian man? You still want to have power over our BODIES??. Does that not show you how Nigerian society has TREMENDOUSLY failed in raising the male child??

The amount of men in those videos is sickening. If rape culture can bring out a such a huge crowd, just imagine what they are doing behind closed doors.

There is nothing cultural about violating women. There is nothing traditional about stripping people of dignity. Let’s call it what it is, this is evil and the fact that this is even a conversation in 2026 makes it even more irritating.
