Major reason I'm not buying Kyler Murray coming off ACL injury is that his rushing yards will decrease in 2023. ExA: Joe Burrow PostOp Year 1: 25th in QB rushing PostOp Year 2: 12th in QB rushing Kylers ACL timeline also puts him in danger of missing WK1. ADP @ 18 is fair

@Fohlzy @FCBarcelona @ANSUFATI @dat_commish Biceps femoris is one of the 3 hamstring muscles. Usually in America, Hamstring injuries are commonly reported. In Europe, they tend to release the specific muscle that is hurt. This is not more or less severe than a standard hamstring injury. Depends on degree of tear now.

After working with multiple post-op Achilles repairs, I will be one of the biggest Cam Akers fans for his first game back. One of the most painful injuries to recover from. It's not typical for a medical practitioner to advise to push through pain, but it is for this injury.

@Fohlzy This injury is mostly seen as an overuse injury in runners, and treatment speed depends on how well you are able to decrease the irritation to the band. Treatment is all over the board across clinicians for this injury.

@Fohlzy @FCBarcelona Essentially, it’s a hamstring strain. The semimembranosus is the one of the 3 tendons that form together to compromise the “hamstrings.” Depending on severity and how he progresses, he could be out awhile

@Fohlzy @DangeRussWilson With the fracture that Russel Wilson had, the surgeon used a pin to help stabilize the alignment of the bone. After the bone healed enough, the doctor removed this pin. Now it’s onto rehab and getting back to the field for week 10

@Fohlzy @AdamSchefter A pretty rare injury, commonly seen in Car accident or crash injuries. Happened because that knee slammed into the ground forcefully. Very volatile return to play timeframe, truly depends on how fast he can get ready. 2-4 weeks is fairly accurate

@Fohlzy Regardless of severity, that is a lot of extra time from one training staff to execute the EAP compared to the other. There might be potential also that this situation didn’t even need a spine board if all they were looking at was a concussion. Very interesting

@Fohlzy Good news it appears they are not worried about a cervical fracture and are evaluating him primarily for a concussion. What was interesting watching this compared to the SEA/PIT game, this spine board took <5 minutes whereas the other game took <15 minutes. (1/2)

@Fohlzy Lucky it is not Achilles, heat of the moment this looks tough to decipher between especially how he got carted off. Both injuries have similar mechanism of injuries as they are different aspects of the calf

@Fohlzy As long as the ribs aren’t fractured posteriorly there shouldn’t be an increased concern for a punctured lung. If there was a punctured lung you have a Gronk situation and thats the reason he doesn’t fly. Doctor will give green light on when fracture and lung are ready to go

@Fohlzy Are we talking Damien Harris? With the ribs its mainly going to be a pain tolerance issue. Remember Mike Vick playing right after fractured ribs with the vest for added protection, but that is a different position. RBs take so many more blows and will have to be more conservative
