Every year as we move away from the events of 9/11, I find the images of the towers falling don’t impact the way they use to. I now try to focus on individual stories from that day to help remind me of the emotions I felt. This year I want to focus on the dogs of 9/11

UPDATE: Carrie from @getaroomcom called me and she could not have been more competent or nicer. She called the hotel directly, made sure I have a room and promised to refund the difference (eg their Fee). A Twitter complaint was required but appreciative they resolved it.

So I am dumb for not reading the fine print but I believe they are predatory...

I love how rugged, unrefined and unpredictable #Sicily is. It’s a place to travel where there is no itinerary or agenda. I haven’t seen throngs of people taking selfies or tourists running amok. It’s unspoiled. Don’t come here. 😊🇮🇹
