@Starlink is waving at me wherever I go (digitally). It is obvious that I can see their adds here on X. It is given of course. But I can see videos also about it now on Tiktok and IG. 😂 Is it time for me to save some money to get one? Drop some extra cash first before I go for it. 😂

Interesting topic. Especially for us future users. I am actually trying to understand the consensuslessness part and that there is another layer where consensus is added. Partly I understand what pod team is working on. But will watch again later just to see if I miss some info and explanation. Nice one team pod! Looking forward to watch more episodes of Inside the Pod. 🚀

Building decentralized markets requires tackling challenges related to efficiency, real-time latency, market fairness, and censorship-resistance. Running black-box consensus at each step of the way won’t cut it. @abresas and @giorgos_tsimos discuss how Pod is utilizing a dual-architecture and enforceable market rules to provide fast and fair markets on decentralized networks on a global scale. 🎙️New episode of Inside the Pod 👇

@RyanHoliday I got to stop watching book recommendations. I might find myself again strolling inside a bookstore and buying new books to add again on my unread but soon to be read collections ahahaha! Just kidding. Will probably do this when I have additional budget for it.

Philippines Warns Against Seven Unregistered Crypto Platforms. Philippine SEC has issued an advisory warning investors about several unregistered crypto platforms operating in the country. The list includes dYdX, gTrade, Aevo, Pacifica, Deriv, Orderly, and Ostium. According to the regulator, these platforms appear to promote investment products promising returns or profits without proper authorization. Under Philippine law, such services must be licensed as crypto-asset service providers and meet strict operational and capital requirements. In addition, the SEC warned that individuals or groups promoting these platforms could face serious legal consequences. Violations of the Securities Regulation Code carry penalties of up to 5 million pesos, or imprisonment of up to 21 years. In some cases, both penalties may be imposed together. This move underscores a broader push to safeguard investors amid rising crypto adoption.

Starting a YouTube channel last year was one of the best things I could’ve done. Here are the things I’ve learned so far, you can steal them: 1. YouTube is a lot like X In the sense that you could create content for an entire year and not move at all, but 1 upload (1 really good video) will finally kickstart your growth journey. 2. YouTube pays a LOT more I finally got YouTube monetized this month and I’m bringing in 200K views a month. I’ve made $1.3K in my first month of being monetized. For comparison, I bring in 60M impressions a month on X and made ~$5K this month. For YouTube, that’s about $6.5 per 1,000 views. While for X, that’s about $0.083 per 1,000 views. 3. YouTube audiences convert to super fans I’ve been creating content on X for 5 years. Yet, whenever I post a call to action, start a new social media channel elsewhere, conversion is rough. I’ve noticed that new subscribers on YouTube tend to follow me on X, TikTok, Instagram and everywhere I go. 4. Finding your voice > finding your niche I constrained myself to 1 niche on YouTube when I started out. And to be honest, that hurt me more than it helped me. For 11 months I was creating content that 10-50 people were watching. It wasn’t until that I let go of the imaginary chains of my “niche” that I truly started to grow on YouTube. And to be honest, the same applies for X and almost every social media app out there. Closing thoughts: I’m sure I will learn a lot more in the next few months. But if I were to tell creators one thing they need to be doing right now, it’d be this: Never lock yourself under 1 social media channel. I love X so much, but ONLY building a presence on it is a massive risk. You never know when and how you could lose access to your account. Spread your presence to 2 main apps. 1 where you put 80% of your time on, and 1 where you put the other 20%. Most importantly, don’t forget to have fun. :)
