According to the latest Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA) for the School Year 2025–2026 released by the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II), Bohol now holds the third-lowest percentage of struggling readers nationwide.
The report highlights Bohol’s significant progress in early childhood and primary education, with only 25.46% of its students classified as struggling readers—the lowest percentage across all divisions in Region VII (Central Visayas).
Governor Aumentado attributed this success to the province’s Strategic Governance Roadmap.
