Had exit velocities of 106, and 110 MPH.
He's my early star for the season. Well ahead of where I expected him to be at this point of his career. Recognizes breaking pitches and doesn't expand. Great power.

@BenjaminSolak I'm a Niner fan but something tells me people see Brock Purdy do it and think Ty Simpson can? Not saying I agree but seeing a lot of that lately given the McVay/Kyle "they run the same offense"-isms (they don't!).

Of all the potential Ty Simpson landing spots, the one I just can’t get my head around is the Rams.
No doubt he’s a “scheme fit.” But the whole lesson of flipping Goff for Stafford was what superior traits unlocks for McVay’s offense. Simpson would be a U-turn IMO.

@JavierVeg_ I feel like there are too many redundancies in skillset with Faulk and Mykel Williams so someone like Cashius Howell makes more sense in R1.

@scottcoleman55 The larger issue is the farm system. I understand they pick late in drafts and push prospects too fast watering down the "rankings"(his fault!) - but they need to be better there and have to figure it out asap.
