As someone who has struggled with my mental health, this year has been by far the hardest. Up until this year I had been so proud of the strides I had made, and I am so great full I had made those strides because it gave me ways to cope... 1/

Ladies, if you feel stupid for falling for his charm... remember Henry VIII chased Anne Boleyn for 7 years, defied the church to marry her... and still had her beheaded.

Saw someone say “Louis CK was cancelled by the woke mob who hated his free speech” which is a really odd way to describe getting completely naked and masturbating in front of female coworkers on the job, and losing some oppurtunities because of that.

A man's desire to become a father is always paid for by a woman with her body, her health, her career, and her freedom. But when a woman expects a comfortable life, she is somehow shamed for wanting too much

You cannot repair a relationship with someone who insists the real problem is always your reaction, never their behavior. They focus on how you spoke, how loud you got, or how emotional you became, while completely ignoring the disrespect, neglect, or hurtful actions that caused your response in the first place. This pattern turns every conflict into your fault. It blocks any chance of genuine healing. Real progress in a relationship requires accountability from both sides.

Most women do not cry over the man. They are crying over themselves, the effort they put in, the hope they had, the delusion they believed, and the reminder that love has not rewarded them.

“Men suffer in silence." No, they don’t. They treat everyone around them like dogshit. They externalize their feelings onto the women closest to them, usually.

Can we talk about how exhausting it is to be emotionally intelligent in situations that don't deserve your understanding. To see everyone's perspective when nobody is extending the same courtesy to yours. To regulate your reactions while others express everything without filter or consequence. To be the bigger person so consistently that nobody even acknowledges it requires effort. Emotional intelligence is a gift.

AOC on why she’s considered controversial: When you fight really entrenched power, that power will fight you back. They cannot be seen attacking the message because that makes them look bad, so they attack the messenger. There will never be an uncontroversial messenger for challenging the structures of power keeping wages low. Secondly, I think my presence at someone who was a waitress… I’m not supposed to be there according to them and I’m not bought. There’s a real class aspect to this. There is a lot of people who think if you don’t make a lot of money, it’s reflective of your intelligence and your capacity as a human being. And of course, I’m a woman and I’m Latina. My mere existence is subversive in the place that is am. I also don’t act in a way that women are supposed to act in a society like this. You’re coming at me crazy, I’m not going to be deferential to you.

Just to be clear, banning SSRIs is an extremely bad idea. SSRIs have a sort-of 'hatedom' online, but the NNTs are still very low. These drugs save lots of lives and pulling them is a horrible idea that will result in immediate death with little upside.
Bo Erickson Reuters@BoKnowsNews

New - WASHINGTON, May 8 (Reuters) - U.S. health department officials last week explored whether they could ban certain drugs in a widely prescribed class of antidepressants as Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy ‌Jr. prepared to roll out a plan to reduce their use, according to two people familiar with the discussions. w/@yabutaleb7
