Today we want to shoutout Gabi Mendez an undergraduate at Northern Arizona University who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr. Randall Hughes. Her current goal is to join a marine biology master's program and study estuary conservation with a sub-focus on science communication! 🦀

Today we want to shoutout Jay Krithivas @j_krithivas an undergraduate at Northeastern University who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr. Brook Moyers. His current goal is to participate in Northeastern University's Three Seas program, before pursuing an MS and PhD in ecology! 🌊

Today we want to shoutout Zoe Ruben @ZoeRuben1 a grad student at the Texas A&M University who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr. Mikhail "Misha" Matz. After graduating with her master’s she aims pursue a job in either coral reef research/conservation or science communication! 🪸

Today we want to shoutout Uzezi Okinedo @UOkinedo a PhD student at the University of Massachusetts who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr Andrew Whitehead. Her current goal is to post publications on her recent project exploring gene network connectivity in silver leaf sunflowers! 🌻

Today we want to shoutout Matías Gómez-Corrales a PhD student at the University of Rhode Island who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr. Daniel Bolnick. His main goal is to contribute to coral reef conservation and the understanding of invertebrate evolutionary biology! 🐚

Today we want to shoutout Sujung Chung an undergraduate at the University of California, Davis who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr. Michael Kantor. Once she receives her bachelors she is interested in pursuing a career focused on environmental and marine science! 🦀

Today we want to shoutout Ian Birchler De Allende an undergraduate at University of Maine who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr Katie Lotterhos. He is currently working on sequencing nudibranch mitochondrial DNA and his goal is to obtain his PhD and conduct future research! 🧬

Today we want to shoutout Melissa Naugle @MelissaNaugle a PhD student at Southern Cross University. She participated in the VLTP w/ Dr. Michael Kantar and was involved with RCN Coordinated Readings. She hopes to use her education to work in policy or industry decision-making! 🦐

Today we want to shoutout Samuel Bogan @granogan a PhD Student at UC Santa Barbara who participated in the VLTP w/ Dr Steven Roberts. He's pursuing a career in research with hopes to advance ecological genomics and physiology in the context of environmental adaptation! 🔬
