@BilelAffelay de fou
jai l'impression qu'une partie de le new gen capte moins l'aspect scénarisé en +
(et ouais jdisais ca aussi pour Speed, meme la plupart de ses interactions de ses lives sont préparées)
@Hagl_Odin@HPotterUniverse everything is interepretation, if thats your main concern Hermione is not as beautiful as Emma Watson in the films, Dumbledore is not as distant as Michael Gambon's portrayal, Dudley has blonde hair in the books, and so on
@fellow2_0@HPotterUniverse An 'interpretation' would be fine if HBO had called it an 'interpretation'. But that's not the case, is it. It was said to be a close adaptation to the books.
I think it is very clear that production on the Harry Potter TV series has started.
Unfortunately, that would likely mean that HBO is sticking with Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape. He does not resemble Snape at all, which is a massive problem considering how important Snape’s role in the story is. Essiedu is a great actor, and I wish he would’ve been cast in a different role.
Every other actor cast in the series closely resembles their character that J.K. Rowling described in the books EXCEPT Snape. Why is that? Why did HBO decide to completely change the look of Snape, and no other characters? Some answers would be nice.
This TV show will span 8-10 years and the character of Snape, in my mind, will essentially be absent from the story. I will not be able to convince myself that Essiedu is Snape because there is zero resemblance. You can’t tell the story without Snape, but I guess that’s the route HBO has chosen to take. A big mistake.
What a massive disappointment.
@HPotterUniverse you keep telling the color of his skin is not the main problem but it truely seems like it, even the creator of the universe you love so much approved the cast, you got 500k followers so stop being so childish and let millions of kids (and adults) dream when the show starts
@HPotterUniverse bro you're probably 35/40, you grew up watching Snape portrayed by the great Alan Rickman, you had the chance to be in the generation that witnessed it
but what about a new intepretation by a young great actor with a deep range of emotions?
