I hate being negative because that’s not who I am as a creator, but I need to rant for a second about the current state of MLB The Show I truthfully believe MLB The Show 26 has a chance to be one of the worst games in franchise history if things are not changed - No new online game modes - Same game modes without change for YEARS, ranked/events/BR are completely stale - Lack of quality rewards for online play, no true reason to get good at the game for top tier rewads - Best way to earn is constant mini seasons on ROOKIE, awesome for NMS/casual players, but shouldn’t be the best way to earn - “PCI Shrinkage taken out of the game when hitting”, not true at all - Josh Hader glitched for two years, no fix - Dread lag still an issue for YEARS - Bots have taken over ranked with no fix - Cheaters ruin gaming experience for online players of all levels, manipulating scores/cheating system plays the game for them - Perfect umpires online are indeed NOT perfect - P2P connection PUNISHES the person with better internet - Disconnects/people getting booted from games for no reason - Investing in cards completely nuked - UI/Menu Screens slower than ever - STILL can’t see ranked record of yourself or opponents - Servers feel rough every other day I’m sure I’ve missed some things, but these issues affect people on a daily basis playing this game I’m also not the one to play any RTTS or Franchise so I really can’t speak on the state of those game modes I think the content of this game has been solid, but when there are so many other glaring issues the game has, it doesn’t matter I truly want MLB The Show to be the best sports gaming franchise of them all, not just as a creator, but as a baseball fan and someone who genuinely enjoys playing the game I don’t know what it will take for MLB The Show to take the necessary steps to become better, but I hope that time is sooner rather than later

@MikeDro_ Class action lawsuit that the simple answer. Cause they are wasting time and our money. That will wake them up. But content creators will have to lead the way

I’m worried about Weekend Classic coming up in a few days with all the issues Cheaters with gameplay scripts to hit perfected Manipulating box scores to boost Pitch warping/strike zone issues Lots of players matching up with bots There’s some other stuff but so far the online experience hasn’t been great for players trying to climb the leaderboards. I also love the ability to farm packs and stubs offline but with the exception of WC there isn’t much reward for winning games online.

@OhChev They can't, "bots" are a Xbox problem and the cheat it's very hard to detect from SDS since it requires a platform that's doesn't connect to the game, just report and block people who you suspect them of cheating

If SDS doesn't clean up the bots/cheaters and adjust their gameplay loop I personally think 26 is going to fall off of a cliff. Feeling like you can only play 1 offline mode if you want to earn progress towards collections is actual insanity.

Bad news. KontrolFreek saw this tweet and immediately dropped me. Even though I've sold out all of our stock multiple times, they said Frostie's 60 year old mother holds ultimate authority in the MLB The Show community. That's going to be it for me. This is my farewell.

So here's what i've heard from a bunch of people today in regards to the update: 1) Blur isn't working at all for some users 2) Many players get challenge failed or errors when trying to play online 3) All of the "patched" Mini Seasons bugs are still there for many users
