@Tan11_243 Just to be clear too, I was exposed to WTC before I knew Japanese so my outlook is likely warped and faulty as I literally can't bring myself to finish the games in Japanese after having spent so long on them in English already.

@Tan11_243 I do agree it does not make sense to talk of prose in regards to a translation, which makes most conversation about this quite ridiculous. I know Japanese and the translations are fine but ultimately shouldn't be the focus of a conversation like this.

Ryukishi should be inspiring you with his terrible prose. Even with this quality, he can still make compelling stories. You don't need to delude yourself just because you care for his works, I care too lol.

Also, prose talks when everyone has only read a translation LOL do you hear yourself? Reads horribly regardless in this instance though. You aren't going to him for "prose" anyways, you should know his appeal lies elsewhere.
