But you are completely wrong on the impeachment fiasco. Every reputable observed recognized it for what it was -- an effort to derail Paxton from replacing Abbott at the top of the State Party. The House Speaker who organized the impeachment effort was censured by the State GOP, then lost his next House election contest for Speaker, and then resigned from the State House. His personal foibles are his to own. But he's in a VERY LONG LINE of politicians if that's all you have on him. It's become "conventional wisdom" that he's somehow a terrible candidate. But most of that is Establishment GOP and Beltway chatter that was only motivated by a desire to protect Cornyn from him in the next primary.

@tanpukunokami Pressure cooker. Use minimal water possible to get to cooker to pressure. Discarding water is literally pouring the nutrition down the drain (vitamin c is highly water soluble. More in potato than orange.). Add butter, freshly shredded cheese, cream, sour cream, roasted garlic.

Getting slammed for my lack of "media literacy" over the Barbie movie. Here's the best example to explain the point. Starship Troopers was supposed to be a satire of American militarism/nationalism. We know this because Verhoeven said so, and because it looks like propaganda from within the world being depicted. But when audiences just watch the movie, it has a totally opposite effect than what the artist intended. Handsome, competent, brave humans are fighting for the survival of humanity against giant bug monsters. So naturally nearly all normal humans watching this side with the humans. This includes people who know the movie is meant to be satire. So, we can conclude that the artist failed in his objective. The actual effect of the movie is very different from his intentions. Is this "media literacy"?
