@DanielKingChess I remember as a kid somebody saying they played the Pirc and Bob Wade stepped in with the correct pronunciation adding “he is a personal friend of mine”.

Leonard Barden once greeted him very formally with ‘Grandmaster Purk’ (English style ) and received a curt put down as Pirc gave him the correct pronunciation of his name.

@erwinlami Hi Erwin, you were asking about the pronunciation of 'Pirc' in your broadcast from Malmö just now. The 'c' is pronounced like a German 'z', i.e. 'ts'.
