Ended on a high note last night. My dear friend @MagicAntonio convincing himself I just had to be on a busted flush draw here. GGs to all involved & shoutout to 6 of the 7 players who somehow were able to stay for the whole game without their planes leaving without them. 🫡

RE: Lakers & 3 seed. If they sweep their games against the 5 tankers (IND, WSH, BK, DAL, UTA) and just go *2-6* in their other 8 (MIA, ORL, DET, CLE, OKCx2, GS, PHX) that puts them at 51 wins. So, to catch them: HOU has to go 11-3, Denver 10-4, MIN 9-3. They're gonna be the 3

The Lakers now sit at 44-25. Minnesota is 43-27, Houston is 41-27 & Denver is 42-28. The Lakers also have clinched the tiebreaker over all 3 of those teams… and they have 5 games left vs IND, BK, WSH, DAL & UTA. They’re now a massive, massive favorite to be the 3 seed.

With 4 weeks left... Here's where I think the NBA MVP race sits: 1- SGA 2- Luka 3- Wemby 4- Jokic 5- Cade Luka vs Wemby is thisclose and could flip multiple times over last month. But SGA is going to (and deserves to) win, and Luka has clearly played his way into the Top 3.
