@ghosttybae I was just thinking the same thing today, I'm about to give it all up, but I'm sure you have a great future with your store.

Second Life kinda gets me down as a creator sometimes. I feel like just dropping everything and disappearing from the game, but then I remember it’s my main source of income since I have a RL disability and can’t really have a regular job. It’s exhausting af, but there are good parts too, like friends, going shopping….buying my meds, and feeding my pet in real life

@MesmerMacabre Yeah, I understand that well. When your income depends on it, it stops being just a game 🫠

@ghosttybae I'm in a very similar boat myself; SL has just become a "workplace" more than any form of enjoyment at this stage. If I'm online there, 9 times out of 10 I'm working in some capacity.

@MilkBathxoxo I feel this a lot. Being a creator in SL can be exhausting, especially with all the competition and negativity around. It’s one of those things where you love creating, but the environment can make it hard to keep going

@ghosttybae I’ve had to detach myself fully from sl beyond logging in for creator things and platform time. The groups are too toxic even the ones that pretend to support creators. Everyone is undercutting everyone and it’s rare to find people who actually want you to succeed. Too stressful
