George Lucas was so worried about "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) being a failure that he self-funded the entire movie. He took out a massive bank loan against his own property to maintain total creative control from the studios.

I feel this is one of the most underrated fight scenes in the movies. A skilled Jedi versus one of the most dangerous bounty hunters in the galaxy. It really displays the tricks and skills the very best bounty hunters utilised.

This was 26 years ago. 🤯 I was fired up for this and honestly, it did deliver. It wasn’t awesome or perfect by any stretch, but it was good enough.

Growing up in Louisiana, you knew two things. 1. If you want to go fishing, head south to the coast. 2. If you want the beach, drive east, past the nasty beaches in Mississippi, and head to Alabama/Florida.

A year ago, Andor completed its final act. Some of the best acting in Star Wars shows happened in these three episodes. In the interrogation scene, Krennic placing his finger on Dedra’s head wasn’t in the Andor S2 script. Ben Mendelsohn improvised it.
