Funny. Most countries, with whatever issue they have, have managed to give their armies a standard assault rifle which at the least, manages the job OK-ishly. Indian Army has INSAS, is a dull orange rifle whose butt & magazine break if it falls and the rifle jams if the magazine touches anything from below while firing. A truly delightful standard rifle.
