It’s going to be a very busy May for our short film ‘iCare 9000’ We have been selected for another big film fest: Romford Film Festival which runs from the 22nd to 25th of May. London Friends, come along to see our funny little sci-fi film, a plethora of other great shorts.

Next weekend is a huge one for our film ‘iCare 9000’. We are screening at two film festivals on Saturday the 25th of April . The BIFA Qualifying Beeston FF and the excellent celebration of genre film that is Forbidden Worlds FF in Bristol. Get tickets if you can!

Had a nice wee wander around Kirkcaldy the other day. It gets a bad rap but it's a mighty nice walk down to Dysart Harbor, there's good exhibitions in the art gallery and a decent garden centre. What more do you people want?

When I was very little my family went to a stately home open day where there were peacocks. At one point my dad got bored, turned to my mum and said "watch this" then told me to look out for the peacocks because they are vampires. I immediately burst into tears while they laughed

Whenever I hear about UBI i think about Monopoly and how even though everyone gets £200 when they pass go, the people who own everything still get all your money.

As yet another UBI trial rolls past showing that it works really well, it's hard not to conclude that the main reason nobody adopts it is because bad employers don't want to give up their leverage over the desperate and poor to work in shit conditions for pittance.

Good news, ICare 9000 is returning to Edinburgh for another screening. You can catch it amongst a range of excellent genre shorts as part of the Si-Fan Festival. Get yourself to the Edinburgh Cinema Video Society on the 3rd of May for some sci-fi fun.

Outrageous what's happening at Trongate 103! Glasgow printmakers, Street Level photoworks, Project Ability & the artist there do so much excellent work & GMAC is at the centre of Scottish grassroots film. Ripping the creative heart out Glasgow for rent!!!
