"Those who regularly engaged in vigorous exercise — the kind that makes you break a sweat — had a particularly lower risk of cardiovascular disease mortality. And even just 10 to 75 minutes per week made a difference." — @nytimes nytimes.com/2022/07/13/wel…

@halfmarathons I’m Dawn, from D.C., live in Bakersfield, CA. I used to run all over GA because I lived there prior to moving here. I also ran in TN, FL, SC, D.C., IA & other places. Currently, I don’t run as much but now it’s throughout CA and a few in Utah. I prefer trail running.

"Now 42, various bits of me creak and ache, and I wonder how the benefits of cardiovascular fitness and general wellbeing – from fresh air, sunlight, early mornings and better diet – balance out against the stress running might put on my joints... At least I’m not a man." 😬

@1AccordFitness Fascinating, isn't it? I mean, this is what we've always thought was happening, but it's interesting to see it confirmed this way.

"Not only do these results help explain why exercise makes you move, think, and feel better, they also show that these benefits continue even if you do not work out every day." sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/…
