Great work by my colleague @nikolasruffer and our Hamburg-Berlin Muscle group: Approaching new therapeutic options with #musclebiopsies in refractory #myositis.

• 1 to 24 applications of daratumumab • AEs: application-associated (in i.v. application), hypogammaglobulinemia, infections -> CD38 inhibition seems a promising therapeutic option in many refractory AIDs -> RCTs warranted

• 38 publications incl. 83 patients with rheumatological, nephrological, hematological & neurological diseases • mainly therapy refractory cases (median of 5 different previous therapies) • remission/improvement in 81% • Antibody depletion/reduction in 52%
