What the US did overnight was incredible and it underscores how far they are willing to go for their citizens even behind enemy lines. Apart from the fact that it was going to be an embarrassment to have one of their Pilots caught by Iran, they basically just communicated that no one would be left behind no matter how dangerous the rescue mission will be. There’s nothing that builds the morale of those at the warfront than that.
