@diablosheart girl you cant call your shots on a trope, we all are here as readers. I was trying to say people who are judging them for reading that trope or this book, it's because of the writing. Yes the trope took a part in it but its not the entire reason.

When people start to understand that, as adults, we can read about anything while fully knowing it’s fictional (and that enjoying those stories doesn’t mean we support or condone those behaviors in real life) the reading community would become a much nicer and respectful place
