E eu que, na minha santa inocência, achava que demorava pra provisionar um API Management no #Azure? Fui subir um SQL Managed Instance agora e ele me disse que o deploy pode levar até SEIS F@#$G HORAS!!!

If anybody wants to know why Gen X is always mad, it's because we had to replace our record collections with a tape collection that we had to replace with a CD collection that we had to replace with an MP3 collection, and now we need a subscription to listen to music.

@mkristensen Cool! Would be even cooler, though, if it also had "reopen with encoding" (like VS Code) instead of just "save". Sometimes it simply failed to detect the proper encoding and I want to help VS with it. If I convert a misdetected file I might end up corrupting it.

Would you use any of these Restart menu commands in Visual Studio if they existed?

@dfinke TBH, what I do in most (virtually _all_) cases is option 2 - adding a ScriptMethod to a PSCustomObject. To me it has the added benefit that you can augment POCO objects in the same way, either via Add-Member and using types.ps1xml files. I use them both extensively in TfsCmdlets.

@igorabade Yes, I as well. This is a bit different. The function is creating a PSCustomObject and then using Add-Member to create the ScriptMethod. Compared to the Class syntax that creates the method

@dfinke I usually prefer a mix of both - declare both the class and the method, then create the `New-<Obj>` function to instantiate it instead of relying on the [class]::new() syntax.

Aerosmith@Aerosmith

It was 1970 when a spark of inspiration became Aerosmith. Thanks to you, our Blue Army, that spark caught flame and has been burning for over five decades. Some of you have been with us since the beginning and all of you are the reason we made rock ‘n’ roll history. It has been the honor of our lives to have our music become part of yours. In every club, on every massive tour and at moments grand and private you have given us a place in the soundtrack of your lives. We’ve always wanted to blow your mind when performing. As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other. He has spent months tirelessly working on getting his voice to where it was before his injury. We’ve seen him struggling despite having the best medical team by his side. Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision - as a band of brothers - to retire from the touring stage. We are grateful beyond words for everyone who was pumped to get on the road with us one last time. Grateful to our expert crew, our incredible team and the thousands of talented people who’ve made our historic runs possible. A final thank you to you - the best fans on planet Earth. Play our music loud, now and always. Dream On. You’ve made our dreams come true. *For those who purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster, you will automatically be refunded – there is nothing further you need to do. For those who purchased via third-party resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, etc. – please reach out to your point of purchase for more details.*
