@EmilySm43 They don't miss the 7 million+ that died from COVID (many of which unvaccinated)? That HAS to be indicative of brain damage.
English

@CarmineP101 @TheOnlyFronk @JeffreyLuscombe Freight doesn't need that speed. Look at what the bullet train (Tokyo to Osaka) did for the entire Japanese economy in the 1960s. The miracle was simply increased mobility between two large cities.
English

Why do Conservatives hate this so much? Anyone?
Sharing Travel@TripInChina
A high-speed train is passing through the high-speed railway station at full speed. It looks cool.😎
English

@DrDiGiorgio The most urgent cases go first, and the next 40 take the following spots in the days following. Hopefully the surge is mitigated in ample time or incentives for more neurosurgeons are rolled out to meet demand.
English

If there are 50 people who want to see the neurosurgeon but he only has 10 appointments available, how does one guarantee that right to healthcare?
European Commission@EU_Commission
Healthcare is a basic right. Not a privilege. Not a luxury. This World Health Day, we stand for access, protection, and care for all.
English

@DavidWolfe Not the dead ones. The only COVID funeral I attended was a very vocal anti-vaxxer. Your narrative is tragic.
English

@ronrule @DrMuellersVoice Then who is attending the world's most respected universities? Hint, it's overwhelmingly public school educated students.
English

@DrMuellersVoice We aren’t getting that from public schools though.
English

@ronrule Nope. Public schools need to hold seats for kids that return to public after parents find out that homeschooling is too difficult or if both parent have to work to pay the bills. You don't get your taxes back if you don't utilize the police or fire department.
English

@zapatas_mom I'm not a doctor but have certainly witnessed premed students ravenously doing all assignments, extra credits, and office hours to maintain a 4.0 in university GEs so they can have a chance to get into med school. Some of that really goes to their heads.
English

Doctors love crying about their six figure student debt… and then casually forget to mention the six figure, often multiple six figure salaries waiting for them on the other side.
Okay? Welcome to America.
Everyone takes on debt for their career. It’s not special, it’s just scaled. A teacher takes on 40k in loans and starts out making 40k a year. That’s the reality for most people.
So why do doctors act like they’re somehow above the same deal everyone else gets?
Is it because they save lives?
Because every time that comes up, they’re the first to say that shouldn’t be held against them or that it’s not “rewarding enough” on its own… as if 300k to 500k a year isn’t already doing plenty.
At a certain point, it stops sounding like concern and starts sounding like ego.
You’re not oppressed. You’re just not being treated as exceptionally as you think you should be. Doctors, are in fact, incredibly unremarkable IRL. Just normal people with a God complex.
English

@TiffanyFong It's THE WORST. You and people like you should definitely stay far far away from Los Angeles.
English

@johnhawkinsrwn This narrative will quickly become outdated as war goes on and gas/fuel prices soar.
English

I rode on a high speed train in Japan. It was awesome. Would it work in most of America? We're too big and spread out, so no. Could it work in limited spots, like let's say between San Francisco & LA? Yes, but the liberals in charge are too corrupt & incompetent to build it.
Jeffrey Luscombe@JeffreyLuscombe
Why do Conservatives hate this so much? Anyone?
English

@TheOnlyFronk @JeffreyLuscombe What it will do for city-to-city enconomic activity - is crazy. You won't have to give up your car/truck but maybe it'll give you and your business the ablity to easily afford healthcare and gas/fuel.
English

@JeffreyLuscombe because nobody fucking wants that. We already have cars and lives based around not using the train. We need pipelines and healthcare budget. We need so many things and TRAIN isnt even on the list. This is un fucking believable.
English

@Outlawjohn4823 @MbarkCherguia It's only gross and filthy if you don't wash your hands. I think you just told on yourself.
English

@MbarkCherguia Because its a gross filthy country with a disgusting culture. They literally wipe their shitty asses with their bare hand then "Wash" that hand in dirty water.
English

@BOSSportsGordo Because your back wheels are fixed, you need to swing out into the opposing traffic to park front in, where backing in requires less space.
English

@Milajoy CΟVID was released by accident because of the lax "chabuduo" (good enough) lab safety practices in Chinα. The CCΡ allowing Wυhan residents to travel outside of the country while preventing them from traveling to other Chinese cities/provinces was on purpose.
English

@KaponoKai @AlpacaAurelius Ridiculous. The only indoctrination going on is homeschool parents teaching their kids that the world is <10,000 years old (and dinosaurs weren't real) and that other beliefs are evil.
English

@indagnost @AlpacaAurelius Yes better that they be indoctrinated with violence and sex early in before they have a chance to think
🤡💩
English

@CrystalFos46697 @AlpacaAurelius I agree that a large part of education begins at home but you can't teach socialization in isolation. Even very accomplished parents don't understand that schools are not just distributors of information.
English

@indagnost @AlpacaAurelius It’s all dependent on how you parent them. School, public or home doesn’t hold enough power by its self to determine how kids learn to cope better with society.
It’s a 100% how you parent PERIOD!
English

@CarlZha they are eating too much rice. i love rice but too much rice makes you fat.
English

This is why average 19 yr old Chinese girls are now taller than average 19 yr old American girl btw
China pulse 🇨🇳@Eng_china5
Lunch at a public middle school in China. Allowing growing children to eat as much as they need is more important than anything else.
