@DashMartin Instead of mirroring, try using Extend Mode and manually adjust the resolution of the external display.

@j5create Recently purchased a JVAW56. Connecting to it with Surface Laptops, but instead of displaying the laptop's aspect ratio, it's stretching the image to fill the TV screen horizontally. I didn't see an option to choose fixed aspect ratio in the settings. 3:2 is the ratio.

@DashMartin Go to Settings > System > Display and look at the resolution options for the display. Try setting a resolution that closely matches your TV’s native resolution while maintaining the correct aspect ratio (e.g., 1920×1280 for 3:2).

@MadScientist_42 I apologize that you feel this way about our j5create product. The 3199 and 3198 both requires an installation of a driver to obtain dual displays. One video port is a PnP, while the other requires a driver. If you have any question, please let me know. Thank you.

@j5create : "Quality in every detail" Sadly, this is little more than marketing bullshit. 1) If your product needs drivers for Windows or OSX, it's shite. Seriously. With Thunderbolt as a damn standard and in pretty damned much all hardware these days where you're offering a dock type functionality off of USB-C, you didn't need this shite you're peddling. 2) Presuming that you're willing, albeit marginally, to put up with a driver on a device technology wherein it doesn't need this or shouldn't, it rather helps if you actually, you know, offer the downloadable driver for the device, especially since you have a Wal-mart special offering for it. In the end, I can download the JCB3199 drivers but not the JCB3198 ones. It may be that the 3199 drivers should work with the 3198 unit. But based on my experience, they flatly do not. It is such that I'm returning it to Wal-mart tomorrow for my $100 back. Thanks for nothing, guys. I'll promptly forget you for any product offering of any kind because Quality doesn't really seem to be in your actual vocabulary right now. #j5create #j5createsucks #j5createnoquality
