illegal aliens and mail in ballots are the only reason Democrats can win elections. Without them, they are done.

I really hope this isn’t ai cause this is quite thorough and I’m impressed. Makes me happy someone is willing to use your brain. Rights do come with responsibility correct, but there is no law that says you can’t be stupid. While I wish there were sometimes, as I’d be less pissed off in every day life, we have to accept that everyone receives the same rights. There are absolutely aspects of our lives that are privileges. Driving, running for public office, flying, even working in a lot of aspects. But voting is a right. Not a privilege. So making it harder to have a right, not a privilege, but a right, is asinine. Doesn’t matter if we agree with it or not. If we want that to change, add an amendment. But as it stands, we as a country, don’t have the right to limit the ability for Americans to vote. No matter how stupid they are

Our right to vote is initially implied. The 15th protects this right from being infringed by race/color. The 19th from being infringed by sex. The 24th ensures that congress/presidential elections don't cost money. And finally the 26th lowered the voting age from 21 (historically set from English common law into state legislation) to 18 so that military aged **men** could vote. Women voting: I am completely against drafting women into combat roles. However, for all the same reasons I agree with the 26th; I think you either repeal the 19th or include women in combat draft. There are other negotiations I would be willing to make around this, but this isn't the main topic. So I'll just cut it short. Making it harder: Other rights we have as US citizens: A - Running for public office B - Holding other federal jobs C - Be refused to re-enter the USA or get kicked out D - Obtain a US Passport Which other rights should we not ID for because "it makes it harder"? Responsibility: In the end, rights come with responsibility. Society agreed if an 18 year old has the responsibility to fight in a war, they should receive the right to vote. This shows how rights and responsibilities are tied together. Rights can be taken away if we don't live up to those responsibilities. Most felons can't vote because they weren't responsible citizens. Why do we take away a felon's right to vote? Just as punishment? Or do we take it away because they have shown they can't make good decisions? If interacting with society to get an ID is too difficult, or presenting it when you arrive to vote is too hard... I would argue that that person is not making good decisions to the point that they are unfit to vote. Each of the discussed amendments protects the rights of citizens. Looking at the topic not from a left or right wing perspective, but instead from the average citizen's perspective, perhaps a 28th amendment protecting citizens from external dilution is a good thing.

You can currently yes, but the save act will change that. CA is an anomaly. CA is a joke tbh. I’m with you on that. Few other states that are similar and I’ll Agree with you on. But the issue is a majority of Americans can’t afford to go get their birth cert or passport to vote with the save act. Does it seem dumb and like it’s easy? Sure. Are you and I dissociated with that? Probably. But that’s the issue. Most people here aren’t understanding that some people really do struggle that hard. And should they be able to pay for it or figure out a means? Yes. But we can’t take away the rights given to us from what this country was built on just because people are bad with finances.

@jCarterinvests @Wakeup28056591 @NotoriousDOG420 @mattvanswol @grok It doesn’t cost that much and doesn’t affect already registered voters. I don’t know where you live but you can vote with a drivers license in Oregon and Washington. They register to you vote at the dmv when you apply for a drivers license. In CA it’s illegal to show id. BS.

@Breakout1868 @mattvanswol I mean, it quite literally wouldn’t help anyone? It just makes it harder for people? Sure it’s not too hard for most but it doesn’t make it easier 😂 you by far have the worst argument of anyone I’ve seen. Dumb ass

See the issue you’re giving is insinuating that I’m saying anyone is going to lose their ability to vote. Rather than it make it harder, and hurt the ability for Americans to vote, that initially didn’t have to jump through hoops to have their constitutional right. I’m not trying to be a dick if you’re willing to have a logical convo. But your argument is flawed from the start

VICTORY! In a massive win for President Trump, the Senate voted 52-47 to FULLY FUND the Department of Homeland Security & ICE: ✅ $38.6 billion for ICE ✅ $22.6 billion for border patrol ✅ $5 billion for DHS Now, the bill goes to the House. Call your Representatives & ask them to vote 👉YES👈 to the budget reconciliation package. This bill does NOT ban the $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund. Fully fund DHS & ICE. Then, pass the SAVE America Act!

@the_other_tbk @artim942 @mattvanswol The issue with this is designating it to a party. So it shows you are bias. When you’re trying to have a conversation about logic, you should not be allowing yourself to succumb to biased views. You can’t sit here and ask about one side and think you have a logical point

I agree. I really do. We need to make sure the system can’t be taken advantage of. But when studies show that 0.001% of voting is fraudulent, when it would affect 9-12% of voters that are legal, there’s an issue above wanting to make sure we have secure elections. I fact checked these numbers and will link if you’d like

@jCarterinvests @mattvanswol ive seen the requirements. its not far off. completely feasible for people to get. we cannot continue to allow non-citizens to vote in our elections, and depending on the honor system is not enough.

@the_other_tbk @artim942 @mattvanswol So you take the stance of if in fact it was proven (not saying it is) but if it was proven that republicans benefited from insecure and chaotic elections it would only help the dems? Think before you speak

That’s the issue. And I very much appreciate you not getting hostile like most. The save act won’t allow a general Id. Your drivers license won’t allow you to vote. It’s not about just having an id. They are creating extra steps when the people that take advantage of the system or aren’t legal voters is less than 1%. Whereas it’s affecting almost 10% of American citizens. And sure, can these people realistically get the docs they need? Yes. But to spend an extra $100-200 to get the docs in certain situations is unfair. I won’t need to pay that, and I’ve travelled all over the world because I have the money to do it. But if I had to pay that just to vote if I didn’t have easy access to by birth cert? I’d be pissed
