I cancelled my monthly donation to the @cancersociety today. I should mention that I had Stage 1B cervical cancer when I was 40. Surgery, radiation and chemo. Resources for women’s health are miserly at best, and I was livid when I read that garbage. I remained calm and civil (except I might have hissed a bit when I explained that identities didn’t get cancer - bodies do.) When they feel it in their wallets, they pay attention. I have been donating for over 20 years.
