@QowboyBob @4D5x5 @Trumpcrazytrain @ShadowofEzra What he means is: you MAGAts are gullible & unintelligent, & therefore have been easily brainwashed by an obvious lifelong fraud, conman, pathological liar & criminal. Y'all are now lost in an absolutely batshit, fact-free, anti-American, anti-Christian propaganda cult. Obviously

Your disdain isn’t intellectual. It’s symptomatic—a kind of emotional scar tissue grown over every abandoned vision of a better world, every risk you declined, every strand of the American experiment you quietly smothered when reality refused to conform to your blueprint. Now you roam online looking for new hosts—to staple your own failure’s autopsy onto, believing that enough collateral damage will somehow wash out the proof of your demise. It won’t. The mark is permanent. The longer you insist the injury is external, the more gangrenous it becomes in the only place it has ever truly resided: within an ideology that elected toxicity over vitality. So Kiss Off💋

Of the many many things that need to be done to reform our government, I believe fixing the issue of public sector unions is #2 (right behind fixing voting integrity). Public sector unions are what give the Leviathan so much of its funding and power. 1. We pay taxes. 2. The taxes pay the salaries of government employees. 3. Union dues are skimmed off those salaries. 4. The union then gives those "donations" to Democrat candidates nationally. 5. Elected Democrats ensure there are more and more government jobs with more and more pay and benefits. 6. Rinse, wash, repeat. The tyranny that exists in American today is largely due to the existence of public sector unions. We must find a way to outlaw unions in the public sector.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has joined President Trump in slamming Pope Leo XIV. In a powerful new statement, Viganò told the Pope to “get his act together,” stop acting like a politician pandering to the radical left, and start acting like a real spiritual leader instead of constantly attacking Trump’s foreign policy. Viganò pointed out that many faithful Catholics are scandalized by Pope Leo’s weak, woke criticism of Trump’s decisive actions against the Iranian regime and his overall softness on global issues. This comes after Trump called out the Pope for being “weak on crime” and “terrible for foreign policy.” The message is clear: The Vatican needs strong leadership, not more political virtue-signaling.

Tim Cook donated $1M to Trump’s inauguration. He fawned over Trump and gifted him a 24-karat gold plaque (as Apple lobbied for tariff exemptions). Apple donated to Trump’s ballroom. And it removed ICE tracking apps from its stores after a demand from the DOJ. Remember this.

@ayankeeoriginal @CynicalPublius Almost all blue states have the highest quality of life and standard of living in the US, and their federal taxes are used to subsidize red states. A reasonably intelligent jr. High school age person knows this. Wake the fuck up you are brainwashed and batshit.

@CynicalPublius Ban them at all 3 levels: federal, state, and local. For the latter two, see how the state and local public employee unions have wreaked chaos, disasters, and damages in blue states. They are a much contributor to the doom loops experienced by blue regions.

@CynicalPublius Unions were sold like a way to fight against "the evil business owners". In case of the government employee unions, "the evil business owners" = "all the US population". This does not sound right to me.

@morgancap @CynicalPublius A bigger problem for the USA and US middle class is the collapse and lack of union representation and collective bargaining in the private sector today -- and the resulting criminal impunity of the billionaire, libertarian/conservative Epstein Class... Obviously. Read the files.

Agreed, CP. Unions serve no purpose anymore in either the public or private sector. They had a role in early private industry, but were never appropriate for the public sector—government workers serve the public, not corporate bosses. What was needed in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s is no longer relevant. Today we have EEOC, civil rights laws, OSHA, and a mountain of other protections. All unions do is bleed capitalism dry, skim from workers’ paychecks, and funnel the money straight to Democrats in an endless taxpayer-funded cycle. In the public sector they straight-up hold Americans hostage with strikes and leverage. Reagan showed the way by firing those air traffic controllers. That’s the model we need again: ban or severely restrict public sector unions, end automatic dues, and stop letting them turn government into a permanent Democrat slush funds.

@JamesMartinSJ It's not a question of discrimination among sinners: gay dad, no; dad paying slave wages at his meatpacking plant, yes. It's a question of whether Catholic schools are required to validate the lifestyle of people intimately involved in the school itself: self-described parents.

Not surprisingly, these court cases often center on same-sex parents, that is, not parents who are divorced, or divorced and remarried, or have children out of wedlock, or aren't in comformity with Catholic teachings in many other ways. What about, e.g., denying an education to a child of a parent who committed white-collar crime? Or the child of a parent who is not paying a just wage? It's the selectivity of these cases that many LGBTQ people notice. Moreover, a child should not be denied an education for any perceived failings of the parents. If Catholic schools provided education only to the children of sinless parents whose lives were 100% in conformity with church teachings, the classrooms would be empty. nytimes.com/2026/04/20/us/…
