Dr Naeem Meghjee joined the @NIHR Associate Principal Investigator (API) scheme as he wanted to have an active role in a clinical trial and insight into being a PI.
As an API he led and delivered the @MFTnhs sponsored feasibility study SWIPE 2 👏.

@Resuspiece 1/2 - It is a challenge: officially research is just under 40% of my job plan but that also includes leading our ICU portfolio & chairing our ED/ICU/Anaes research group.
My PhD is on the use of hyperoncotic albumin in septic shock: SRMA followed by a feasibility study

The PM really does need to understand that he is now further damaging U.K. science by not immediately rejoining Horizon, presumably to placate some know-nothing fringe bloviators who know nothing about science, its value or how it’s conducted.
