How to Pay for X Premium Using Your OPay Card The simplest method is to use an OPay Virtual Visa and complete the payment through Google Play on Android. Just make sure your card is funded and enabled for online transactions, then subscribe directly in the X app. Quick Steps: 1. Create your OPay Virtual Card Open OPay → go to Cards → select Create Virtual Card. Fund it with enough to cover the X Premium plan and any extra charges. 2. Enable online payments Navigate to Cards → Manage Card → Change PIN. Set a new PIN to activate the card, and ensure the “Online Payment” option is switched on. 3. Add your card to Google Play (Android recommended) Open the Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods → Add credit or debit card. Enter your OPay virtual card details. 4. Subscribe via the X app Open X → go to Premium → choose your preferred plan → select Google Play as your payment method → confirm. Helpful Tips: Use Android if possible: The iOS App Store often declines Nigerian cards, while Google Play has a higher success rate. 🇳🇬 Women in Ozoro, Nigeria were chased through the streets, stripped, and sexually assaulted by groups of men during the annual Alue-Do fertility festival in Delta State. It happened in broad daylight. Bystanders filmed and cheered. Multiple victims have been hospitalized. Police have arrested more than a dozen suspects including a community leader. Investigations are ongoing. Local leaders say the festival was "misinterpreted" and deny rape took place. The videos say otherwise. One victim, a university student: "They swooped on me like bees. A large crowd started pulling my clothes until they stripped me naked. I was shouting for help." This happened in public. With hundreds of witnesses. And almost no one intervened. Source: NY Post

CLARIFICATION ON THE ARREST OF JUSTICE MARK CHIDIEBERE (JUSTICE CRACK) The attention of the Nigerian Army was drawn to the complaint made by some soldiers regarding their feeding and other matters relating to their welfare as posted on social media by a blogger/social media influencer, Justice Mark Chidiebere (Justice Crack). While the matter is being investigated for breach of the Armed Forces’ Social Media Policy and an attempt to misinform the public, preliminary report reveals that the soldiers discussed wide range of issues with Justice Chidiebere who seemed to be inciting soldiers to create discontent within the system. An example was a chat bothering on subversion which Chidiebere had with the soldiers. It is important to state that a situation where civilians cultivate vulnerable personnel towards acts of subversion has far-reaching implications on discipline and national security. Hence, Justice Chidiebere was picked by the Nigerian Army alongside the soldiers for investigation. While the soldiers remain in own custody, Chidiebere has been handed over to the relevant civil authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution. The Nigerian Army remains committed to the rule of law and will continue to collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure justice is served.
