Countries should do this, in general. Nigeria could have invited more of the Zim farmers when they were expelled, and Nigeria should aggressively woo all of the smartest from neighbouring countries like Cameroun, Niger and so on. Most would gladly move to Abuja, Lagos. Same with Lebanese and Palestinians - Nigeria has benefited from their presence, and there should be a push to make them a significant minority in the country.
The world is different now - it's no more mono-ethnic enclaves, it's a competition for the best and brightest.

There's something seriously wrong in Western political discourse. The moment someone takes an alternate position, the default reaction is to smear the person. We see it in the conversations over various world issues.
Take, for example, Donald Trump.
Some people are still claiming that he's a Kremlin asset. I disagree with this for a simple reason: there aren't as many rigorous investigators in #America as Robert Mueller, and he examined this thoroughly and found nothing.
Do y'all recall the Mueller Report?
From my point of view, this thing is straightforward: Trump respects power and strength. People he perceives as weak irritate him. In his worldview, the Europeans, the Canadians, and, above all, the Ukrainians are weak. So they are meant to be walked all over.
I do not believe that Trump was actively recruited as a Russian asset. Manipulated to serve #Russia's ends using his ego? That is entirely possible.
But an active asset? There is no evidence that supports that assertion, but that doesn't prevent people from running with it simply because too many in the West have forgotten how to have grown-up conversations.
It's that simple.

4days off work cos I usually stay indoors during Ramadan
Yesterday, store keeper call wake me say the new accountant - who just clocked a month on the job - has ran away with the company's laptop and blocked everyone.
I got to the lounge yesterday to investigate and realized that he stole the cash for petty errands in the drawer (around N150k) and also borrowed money from multiple staff (around N50k) during the month.
He also made way with all the new accounting books and retrieved his guarantor's form from the safe.
Since he wants to be popular, I will give him fame.
