It’s the same team.. NCAAT is about march ups and luck. Clemson wasn’t good and really bad offensively.. perfect for Iowa. FL was big but didn’t use them and FL guards were always meh. Guards win in March. 1 off game and any team can win 1 game then move on. Sienna nearly beat Duke

This is not the same team from a couple weeks ago. I don’t get it. I don’t want to sound negative. Because I love this team and program. But something happened. And idk what it is.

I just want folks to do a little research before speculating. TJ Otz spent his entire career with 1 goal..becoming the ISU HC. His wife is in the ISU HOF. It’s a place since he was an assistant under Hoiberg he’s wanted to be at. Otz gets Top 15-20 HS classes at ISU. His system and way of coaching also doesn’t fit 5 star McD AA kids.

Couple of thoughts on North Carolina’s potential change and who I would look at to fill a POTENTIAL vacancy. One out of left field candidate that I think would CRUSH it for the Tar Heels.

@Hassel_Chris I said this watching the game FL should foul Cam M.. then they get ball back with 8 sec to win it or OT. FL using a zone press at end was one of the worst coaching moves I’ve ever seen.

Interesting here Golden says he wanted his guys to foul up 2 so that Iowa couldn’t make a 3 to take the lead.

@TFel922 I played cbball. Believe me I’ve rolled it exactly how he did a dozen times in my life. If I had the therapy he’s getting I’d be 70-80% in 7-8 days No hes not playing tomorrow

@kenneyclone I’m as injured as anyone I’ve ever known, he ain’t playing tomorrow. I hope he plays next week, I doubt it.

Boot, crutches, no weight on the leg whatsoever… either he was being incredibly dramatic (I don’t believe he was), or he ain’t playing ~40 hours later… Let’s hope he can heal up enough to find a way to play in the Sweet 16 after the boys beat Kentucky.
