Just bought a new MacBook Pro from video editing. I’ll finally be able to leave my desk and edit from anywhere😭. Some fire edits are definitely on the way.

@1zakariahq btw i meant to say m2 max is 10%-15% better performance compared to m1 max

@labeebvisuals W broski that's m2 pro, right? i think its max tho as u don't have any external drive do u think m2 max is better than m3 or m4?

@SahmirCreatives @razvanedits i mean it'll definitely do the job. But i'd personally recommend going with m1 max for those extra gpu cores. but it'll only make a difference if you're doing heavy 3d editing in after effects. for 2d editing m1 pro is perfectly fine.

@SahmirCreatives @razvanedits i mean for thumbnail design, it's more than enough. but if you're looking to get into other fields like video editing in the future, then i'd recommend going with a max chip. macs can last for a long time, so i'd honestly recommend getting a used mac which is in good condition.

@razvanedits It cost me around $2000. I haven't tried editing any 4K video in After Effects yet. But I did edit a 4K video in Premiere Pro, and it was smooth asf.

@labeebvisuals how much was it man? and how does it feel in after effects 4k editing ( ofc, if you tried it)
