Spot oil prices in Oman have now exceeded $170 a barrel . Crude cannot be supplied , country is reeling .

20-25% of global energy supply is now offline for at least 6-7 years. This at a time when refineries were decimated to start with. And now the investment in AI will dry up from Arabs. No matter how you slice and dice it, this is bad . Very bad .

@TicTocTick Insurance for oil tankers hereafter will be more and it will also take time to repair those refineries. I don’t understand how people are calling for oil $80 as summer approaches.
