People keep asking me if there is a natural version of modafinil (& the honest answer is no). But two compounds can get you closer than most people think: L-theanine and L-tyrosine. Here is how they actually work: Modafinil promotes wakefulness and focus by hitting multiple brain systems at once – dopamine, catecholamines & arousal networks simultaneously. These two compounds (L-theanine and L-tyrosine) partially replicate that by keeping your brain calm under pressure and stopping your performance from dropping when it matters most. 1. L-theanine = calm, clean focus. Theanine is an amino acid found naturally in green tea that promotes calm, focused alertness without sedation. It calms your brain without making you tired – so you can focus without feeling wired or anxious. Best use: 100–200 mg paired with caffeine at a 2:1 ratio. (It will not give you the 10-hour grind effect on its own) 2. L-tyrosine = focus under pressure. Tyrosine is an amino acid that your brain uses to produce dopamine and norepinephrine (the chemicals responsible for focus, drive, and staying sharp under pressure). Under sleep deprivation, stress, or heavy cognitive demand, those levels drop and your performance drops with them. Best use: 500–2000 mg before a high-stress task. + I usually add about 100 mg of caffeine to this stack. The L-theanine I use (Amazon link): lvnta.com/lv_YesfFPEBpA9… The L-tyrosine I use (Amazon link): lvnta.com/lv_PmZuDTT9B1T… This post is not medical advice – I’m just sharing my experience. The links I use are affiliate links, but I would never promote anything I haven’t used myself

14 reasons to not take modafinil: -you do not want a drug that literally has no deaths associated with overdose -you do not want something with minimal tolerance buildup -you definitely do not want something with practically zero risk of addiction -you do not want neurons surviving longer than they should -you do not want enhanced neuroplasticity -you do not want protection against glutamate excitotoxicity -you do not want reduced neuroinflammation -you do not want your mitochondria functioning optimally -you do not want improved cellular energy metabolism -you do not want your cortical networks firing more efficiently -you do not want more BDNF -you do not want reduced oxidative stress -you do not want higher antioxidant levels -you do not want less ischemia related neuronal damage

Scientists just found a way to kill 92% of cancer cells in 30 minutes using light. Here’s what the research actually shows: Researchers from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Porto published a study in ACS Nano on a treatment that combines ultra-thin tin-oxide nanoflakes with near-infrared LED light to destroy tumor cells from the inside. The nanoflakes are less than 20 nanometers thick – so small they can enter cancer cells directly: Once inside, they absorb near-infrared light at 810 nanometers (a specific wavelength that penetrates deep into biological tissue without getting blocked by it) When the LED light hits them, they convert that energy into heat – raising the local temperature inside the tumor by 15-20°C within 30 minutes. That heat does three things simultaneously: • destroys cell membranes • denatures proteins • damages mitochondria inside the cancer cells The cells cannot survive it. Here is what the lab results showed: • 92% of skin cancer cells destroyed within 30 minutes • 50% of colorectal cancer cells destroyed within 30 minutes • healthy human skin cells showed minimal damage under identical conditions That last point is the whole game. Here is why healthy cells survive while cancer cells die: Cancer tumors have leaky, poorly formed blood vessels (see the pic) This causes nanoparticles to accumulate inside tumors naturally – a phenomenon researchers call ''the enhanced permeability and retention effect'' ↓ Healthy tissue doesn't have this. So the nanoflakes don't build up there. The heat only gets generated where the nanoflakes are sitting (inside the tumor) Surrounding healthy tissue has no heat amplifiers, so it stays largely unaffected. This is the fundamental problem with chemotherapy and radiation – they don't discriminate. The entire LED system costs approximately $530 and can treat 24 samples at the same time. Standard photothermal therapy uses expensive medical lasers most clinics cannot afford. This replaces them with low-cost LEDs that actually provide more uniform light coverage. The researchers believe this could one day be used in standard clinics – and potentially even as a portable home device for certain cancers. Now the part most posts will leave out... These experiments were performed in cell cultures – not in humans. The therapy still needs to go through: 1. animal studies 2. human clinical trials 3. safety and biodistribution testing 4. immune response evaluation 5. long-term toxicity assessment This is not a cure. Not yet.
