One of the women I met in Drake Hall prison that I keep in touch with, has moved to open prison in York. As she is now open conditions she is allowed to receive toiletries etc, so I’m sending her a little care package. As I have said many times. Not all, in fact most people that end up in prison are not bad people. They have just made a mistake, suffered trauma or been let down by the system. The prison system needs to change or people do not stand a chance of turning their lives around. The government needs to do more to help stop people ending up in the system in the first place.

Evening so it was 28 years tonight ago my life changed forever. To win a World championship in Heavyweight boxing was my dream from when I was a child listening to the boxing on the radio with my Dad. It has opened doors to me across the World. Never a day passes without people reminding me. Through boxing I have a charity and we help thousands of people a year. Long may it continue.
