From a longevity standpoint
All 85 NHL Players ages 30+ played at least 1 other sport growing up from ages 5-14 (100%)
Players ages 35+ have the highest average hockey start date (after they turned 5 years old) + highest average specialization age

When I was a kid, @mackattack_39 was my favourite player on the @Oshawa_Generals - I even got a signed stick from him for my birthday at a game.
His career was sadly cut short, and since then he's worked to advocate for heart health and develop the next generation of players.
