Lovely sunny Sunday morning. So back on the allotment. Few more things planted and a bit of a tidy up. Then put up some net tunnels to protect some of the newly planted plants from being eaten by the local wildlife. @NSALG

A bit more planting this afternoon. Strawberries 🍓 now in the square planters. Two different types of tomatoe plants 🍅 plus some Lettuce, Beetroot and Spinach. Just some Sweetcorn, cabbage and broccoli 🥦 to go in at some point next week.

And so the planting of the allotment has started. The potatoes, Pea, Spring Onions and Tomatoes are now all in the ground. Still more to be planted next week.

Taking advantage of the warm sunny afternoon to sit outside. And it is time to start a new book.

It is another bright sunny morning here on the Suffolk coast. Just about warm enough to sit out with my morning cuppa.

Nice wee stroll along the sunny seafront. Stop for some liquid refreshments. It is even warm enough to sit without a jumper on.

It is a beautiful sunny Saturday morning.

A bit of a different view from our balcony, or actually the patio, for this weekend.

Had to do some repairs on the allotment this morning. Looked like a rat had been in a fight & lost, so had to dispose of the body. Dug in some compost and racked over ready for planting. Also brought the raised boxes off the balcony & the first one now planted with so Lavender.

To nice to be sat indoors this afternoon. So now sat outside with my book enjoying the nice warm sunshine.

Well that is half the allotment now prepared and ready for planting. Potatoes 🥔 will hopefully go in this weekend. I was being watch by this little Robin 🐦 It was enjoying eating all the bugs I was digging up. Now just the problem of removing this stubborn tree root. @NSALG

Back on the allotment today and came across this little chap, a common lizard I think. Moved to a different part of the allotment so as not to scare it off. Anyway some more of the area now dug over this morning whilst enjoying the sun.

@macker100 @80_mcswan I work in the oil industry = higher prices more work. Bring it on. Plus Scotland makes enough oil & gas surplus to its needs. Industry is held back by English gov.

It is that time of the year. First day of preparing the allotment for planting after not touching it for 5 months. Going to take a few days just to clear it before thinking about putting any new plants in. @NSALG

@Colincoonie @p_mcpartlin The coaches will have looked at and will have emphasised the need to stop dropping back in the last few minutes. However when the team feels under pressure they just naturally drop deep. It happens to a lot of teams, it will be extremely frustrating for the coaches and fans.

@longbangers The draw is disappointing after last week's win. A defensive error for their first goal. We didn't capitulate after going behind at stuck at it to get back in front. Sat back in the final few minutes and they scored a quality goal. January signings showing why we need them.

@ediz1975 This happens on a daily bases in Cambridge. Watch it happens twice last night while in a bus into town. And there were people on the crossing.

We seriously need to do better 🚴🚴 No life saver check …. No hesitation in jumping this red light…. As cyclists we need to keep safety in mind and not blindly put ourselves in danger. We must do better 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
