I’m a Bay Area native and we are supposed to hate the Dodgers but they are the best sports franchise in the nation. They spend money, they have 4 million fans each year, great ceremonies, the gold on their uniform tonight is flawless. This is what greatness looks like.

@WorkishFromHome @NicoleAuerbach Your point criticized player transfers. That's just the reality of all of college sports right now, especially programs in a rebuild like UM was. And yeah acad standards are relaxed for athletes (as at all schools) but there've still been MANY who were turned down due to grades

@malber @NicoleAuerbach You can absolutely judge their athletic department’s academics on that. The whole “Michigan as an elite academic school for athletes” has always been garbage. It is an elite school for normal students but that’s irrelevant for football and basketball. Even moreso in this era.
