this Diddy doc really got me thinking about how arts/celeb press can be complicit in sanitizing heinous people. Like, by the Making Band era there was ALREADY concert deaths, Stout, Pac, Biggie and Shyne yet no shortage of cameras & interviews from institutions that knew better.

There's a man in my gym I've seen for 8+ yrs who's 350 lbs easy and doesn't seem to have lost 1 pound. I always smile and say Hi cause just showing up (in LA no less) is a feat, and I hope he feels seen and supported and not invisible. You never know what people are dealing with!

So often I think about being in smoky dorm rooms in the 90s...vibing w artists, militants, hippies, and dreads who said a new world order was coming: militarized streets, viruses, corporations ruling earth.. it seemed so far-fetched, hard to believe it could actually happen. Tuh!
