Half-time: 0-0. Tottenham have had much the better of it without really testing Darlow. Leeds solid and offering some sparks on the break. #lufc

@PeteHall86 The way your football club is run is 1 of the main reasons a handful of clubs monopolise the fa & lge cup. They manipulate the game to dominate it & shut out the majority of fans from such games. If you can't see the issue with a fan base becoming blasé about wembley you're blind
English

This infuriates me.
No true football fan should be laughing at Man City empty seats. Not many people can afford three trips to Wembley in seven weeks.
Those who don’t understand that need to have a long hard look at themselves. #MCFC

@AndyMitten And you pay for a blue tick so people know these comments are genuinely yours? Glazernomics indeed
English

@theadelites Not a fair reflection of what's happening . The members ballot open Thurs isnt run until after those who were successful in the 8+ ballot have had chance to buy tickets on Fri. So those who aren't eligible for that will only have a shot at what's left. Likely very little.
English

#LUFC members who entered the tracker ballot will find out today if they got semifinal tickets.
1000s who attended 8+ games will miss out.
A members ballot is being run tomorrow.
Meaning: the semifinal could be someone's first game of the season.

@notluca77 @GrahamSmyth @lufcstats @BerenCross Good luck with this. @BerenCross didn't even know the cup final was before the end of the season in the square ball post match pod!
English

@BerenCross Entirely believable if you've paid any attention to us this season Beren

@CBeesleyEcho @GiuliaBould @KieranMaguire Everton's punishment was to finish 15th instead of 12th costing them about £7.5m in prize money. So less than Chelsea and no transfer embargo on youth signings. They really have no concept of fair punishment given they deliberately cheated to avoid a club crippling relegation

‘If I were an Everton fan I’d be angry about this’ - Chelsea fine scrutinised by expert
I’d implore you to listen to the insightful original interview by @GiuliaBould with @KieranMaguire after the Londoners escaped a points deduction for secret payments

@DragoonFpl @BBCMOTD First point is debatable. Second point would be disagreed with by, at a conservative guess, 99% of genuine football fans
English

@BBCMOTD VAR solves more problems than it causes. It's inarguable.
A momentary celebration is not more important than getting it right.

@GrahamSmyth Didn't realise we get more points for a draw if it's against an established Premier league club so sorry for not initially recognising this as a good result. Can you let me me know which other teams i should be happy for us to lose leads against even if they're not very good?
English

Don't go getting sniffy. Balance is everything.

@LUFCDATA Which is exactly why the positivity around our performances is baffling. This shows how bad our game management and inability to hold onto a lead is. It's a massive, threatening issue and yet everyone seems to think we're all good.
English

@apopey A good result before KO? Their last 2 league home games were 1-1 with wolves & thrashed by Brentford. That's 5 leads & 7 points lost in 4 games. The positivity around this run of performances is baffling. Being good enough to take the lead is irrelevant if you can't hold onto it
English

@BerenCross How many leads and points lost will it take for journos to raise the issue with farke? Or have you still not noticed?
English

Full time: 1-1. Yes, Forest and West Ham close the gap, but a good point on the road for Leeds. Will wonder how many more they should have scored in the first half and whether changes could have come earlier in the second 45 as Everton improved. Six points clear of 18th. #lufc
English

@BerenCross Maybe do your job. Spot the pattern. Question the manager. Write the analysis instead of getting your Athletic gurus to do it for you. Just a thought
English

Full time: 4-3. Very, very hard to swallow when Leeds had the lead on three occasions, but this was always going to be a tough evening. Unbeaten run ends, but still closer to 11th than 18th in the table. The break to Fulham will be important for resetting after that pain. #lufc

@PalletMichael @BerenCross @TheAthleticFC No but the article referencing the athletic is because it's not a fair reflection of what is actually written by Beren for the athletic
English

@PalletMichael @BerenCross @TheAthleticFC It's all clickbait. Beren just referenced him in an article yesterday that it's someone leeds could look at again because farke worked with him briefly before and he's been linked previously. Absolutely nothing to suggest we are actually pursuing the player now
English

@danroan "we've done pretty well in aligning our delivery with that expectation". Ignorance is bliss Howard

More VAR?…
Refs chief Howard Webb “open to discussions" about VAR expansion (eg for decisions on yellow cards & corners), but tells me “we need to think carefully about the consequences” ⬇️

@samcunningham @KieranMaguire If by stealth you mean by blindingly obvious means and evidence, then yes, well spotted.
English

The Premier League is becoming a closed shop by stealth.
Statisticians believe teams have around a 60% chance of being relegated straight after coming up.
And the odds are worsening.
@KieranMaguire: "Clubs are effectively budgeting for relegation.”
