The dogs had to go out super late. While annoying, it was most fortunate. The Northern Lights were dancing over the entire northern sky. There were strobes of color that flicked from the horizon to over our house. I’ve never witnessed that. Wow. #northernlights

Both my mom and I share a birthday. It was probably annoying for her when I was little- but as an adult it was fun. We shared one last birthday a couple days ago. Her struggle is over and our family is just so very sad. Thank you all for the kinds words.

Not widely known outside of our immediate family and friends is that my mom is dying. She picked up a freak brain infection which destroyed her brain. She is now in hospice and my family has gathered to help her on her last journey. Much of who I am, is owed to my mom.
