@17Choclab13 Nope You don’t get to send your cops on our soil to secure your citizens We’d have a melange of foreign cops here if that was allowed

@michaelstepchuk @TheMalaMoragain In the United States doing what they do and policing for the World Cup two different scenarios altogether I don’t feel we have anything to worry about and with the world’s situation right now, the more police we have looking for Security the better

@michaelstepchuk What law allows for a foreigner to police our streets? We've seen what they've done in the USA. Will these ICE kunts be arrested if they use excessive force? Can we be guaranteed they won't be carrying a weapon, legally or not? Say no to Israeli trained kunts being on our streets.

@BillsMafiaSoup Your spelling and grammar make as much sense as your post which is baffling We have two official languages in Canada - pick one

@michaelstepchuk Gossiping about what you think? Real life is not something you experience on TV. We had ARMED POLICE AT some people's churches this weekend in Toronto. Im old enough to remember THATS NEVER HAPPENED ,NOW IT DOES. Your sence of direction is off dear.

@CuOndaFlipside @petermcgregor8 I’m not convinced with your point but I know I don’t want tv coverage of ICE agents breaking car windows and yanking people out of them in Canada as a tv spectacle for the world to see

@turr1959 @TheMalaMoragain ICE has worked in Canada for about 10 years My concern is that their role gets temporarily expanded to on site enforcement during World Cup games & the world sees them breaking car windows & yanking people out. They do it at home & I don’t want that visual here

@petermcgregor8 ICE has been working in Canada for about 10 years This works better if you take the time to know what you’re talking about

@mygrandmotherma @deplorable_guy2 @Darth_Pingu Thank you for your input. You’re right My concern is that their role gets temporarily expanded to on site enforcement. The tv coverage of them breaking car windows and yanking people out of cars is not a visual I want for Canada on the international stage

@deplorable_guy2 @michaelstepchuk @Darth_Pingu I'm perfectly aware of that. ICE agents, however, have no legal authority in this country to insert themselves in our sports venues, or anywhere else for that matter, even if the US is participating. Period.

@200369_tina Right now ICE has had a 10 year role working in Canada My concern is that we might temporarily expanded their role to on site enforcement with the tv coverage of people getting yanked out of cars after they break their windows The reputational damage to Canada would be huge

@michaelstepchuk You clearly watch too much TV. Since when did Canada become so nieve? ICE is American, our border is wide open still. That fact is lost to you. Ice is not going to catch anyone who doesn't belong there. Our border let jack the beheader in,and your worried about ICE. Yea

@patriot_chujk Thanks for your input, I know they currently work here. My concern is that their role might be temporarily expanded during the World Cup to on site enforcement with their usual flair for breaking car windows & yanking people out of cars Great tv for the rest of the world

@deplorable_guy2 @igrand5 @RGopher69 @smiley37555 I know their role as you’ve summarized- I just want it to remain contained as such & not expanded temporarily for the World Cup If they had an on site presence & started breaking car windows & yanking people out of cars the reputational damage world wide would be huge for us

@deplorable_guy2 @MacDonaldWalk I understand and respect that. My concern is that ICE stays in the background in an information sharing role. God forbid they have an on site presence & start breaking windows & yanking people out of cars The international reputational damage for us would be immense

@CuOndaFlipside My concern is with the role they will play. If ICE shares information I’m fine with it. If they have an active presence & start breaking windows & yanking people out of cars that’s a non starter for me - the reputational damage to Canada would be huge Have a nice day
