in conclusion: imo a very strong debut album, to me there’s 0 skips. it has a lovely 2000s nostalgic vibe but also sounds fresh. I’d say my favorites atm are Heart Said No, Murder Ballad and Kiss From a Rose (in no particular order)

my thoughts (no one asked for) on Via Miseria IV after one week, a thread: - BLACKBIRD: a good opener for the album, i’ve been listening to it a lot since the single release. I especially like how Joel’s vocals go back and forth between soft (head) voice and a more powerful tone
