*Has managed to find a Haywaiian shirt that fits over his armour, the single concession he has made to the vacation*

*Has such a wonderfully entertaining time when his charge decides to go "incognito"*

"Sleep well, Highness" *Squares his shoulders back into the default guard stance, settling in for a preferably-quiet stint of standing perfectly still for hours on end whilst remaining alert and aware of his surroundings*

*His smile may be registered as a dangerous weapon, but with the proper precautions taken, he can still make constructive use of it*

"I had heard the squawking, Highness. It is not my place to question the noises you may or may not make" *Maintains his trained deadpan*

*Blinks* *Opens mouth* *Pauses, reconsiders* "As you say, Highness" *Is starting to wonder when his next vacation away from guarding @mlp_celestia might be*

*Licks his suddenly dry lips* "Ah, Highness? Should I be expecting some unpleasant yet humorous effects in particular?"

*Makes a thoughtful sucking noise, before popping the offending object back out* "Three, maybe three point five? There's certainly /something/ cursed about this, Highness" *Beat* "...I have concerns"

*Allows the tiniest raise of an eyebrow on his otherwise impassive mien, before his shoulders droop a tiny micron* "...Very well, Highness" *Accepts the pacifier from @mlp_Celestia, and with merely the faintest grimace, shoves it into his mouth*

*Though his vacation was much-needed, there is something so very comforting about returning to his post beside @mlp_celestia's door* *It's probably the muffled Alicorn-powered snores, they're oddly soothing*

*After one last check to ensure his chestplate is polished to a mirror shine, Flash exists once more, to the joy of mares and the consternation of their fathers everywhere*

*Sneezes* *Blinks, shaking his head as he returns to his reports*

*Exhausted snore*

*Has no comment at this time*

*Gives a panicked glance at @mlp_celestia, immediately disliking the gleam in the former monarch's eye - there's no salvation to be found there* "The party is fine, miss @mlp_stardrift"
