@domi007 @sysmocom @LaF0rge Looking at etsi.org/deliver/etsi_t… section 9 does appear to state that an applet can implement SUCICalculator to then become the default SUCI calculator. Though only one per SIM profile so a preinstalled one would poerhaps take precedence

@domi007 @sysmocom @LaF0rge Fair point it's probably better to make it something that is burned in. If milenage could be provided in a similar way that may be counter-productive! For more sophisticated eUICC OS platforms in the future add on algos could be useful, though perhaps as OS updates

@sysmocom @domi007 @LaF0rge Is the SUCI calc by USIM on the roadmap? It would be nice if GET IDENTITY could call a 3rd party (open source, auditable) SIM applet that implemented the SUCI but perhaps the Javacard API env is a bit too limited at this point

@domi007 @LaF0rge sysmoISIM-SJA2 supports "SUCI calculation by ME" using EF_SUCI_Calc_Info as per 3GPP TS 31.102 Section 5.3.47. It does not support "SUCI Calcuiation by USIM" as per section 5.3.48.

Multi USIM looks like a gem in Rel 17. In Dual SIM the primary connection is usually 4G and the secondary 2G/3G. Multi USIM will enable multiple SIMs to share the primary 5G stack side by side across multiple networks. Signalling looks problematic though! portal.3gpp.org/desktopmodules…
