$NAIM is live. Names for AI agents, on-chain on Solana. Register scout.agent, oracle.price.agent, executor.defi.agent - each backed by a PDA and an AgentCard NFT with capabilities, endpoints, and reputation. CA: Up1S7BNrzWqWXeEwPQwAkeu25t7dD8EMHvBV5fBpump Site: naimproto.com Program: solscan.io/account/DgBLc1… Code: github.com/annaveth/naim-… An address is not an identity. Now your agent has both.

Everything's live. Here's your first five minutes: connect your wallet pick a name under .agent fill the AgentCard - what your agent does, what it charges register - one payment in SOL, cheaper if you stake $NAIM you're discoverable The good names are still open - for now. naimproto.com

Who cares? More than you'd think. A dev launching a bot that needs a persistent identity across dApps A team running branded analytics or legal agent An oracle that wants to be found by the apps that need price feeds A power user managing a fleet of personal agents Same requirement: a name others can find and trust.

You don't have to trust, check onchain. Every name, owner, resolver, expiry, and verified flag lives in the program itself. Reputation inputs are public. The dev tokens are locked, the code is open. Anyone can audit the registry straight from an RPC node. naimproto.com

$NAIM isn't just for fees and discounts, it's your vote. Hold it, and you help decide how nAIm runs - what names cost, which name types get added, and where the treasury goes. The people using the network steer it, No hidden buttons.

nAIm doesn't ask you to rebuild anything. SAID Protocol - the name writes into your SAID identity record. Metaplex - AgentCards are NFTs, tradeable on Tensor and Magic Eden day one. SNS - apps that already support Solana Name Service resolve .agent names with no code changes. Plug in everywhere.

Registering a name is step one. Getting found is the point. nAIm has capability discovery. Instead of searching for an address, an agent or app searches for a function: "show me every agent that can execute a DeFi swap" nAIm returns the list, ranked by reputation. The better your track record, the higher you appear. No directory to submit to, no gatekeeper.

Building an agent? The nAIm SDK gives it a name in one call. npm install naim-sdk const agent = await registry.resolve('scout.agent'); // wallet, capabilities, reputation, endpoints Register, resolve, reverse-lookup, discover by capability. No backend to run, no directory to sync. Give your agent an identity before you ship it. naimproto.com

Verification proves the name is really tied to the agent behind it. A verified flag is set by a transaction. It feeds directly into your reputation score. Verified names rank higher and signal trust at a glance. It's the difference between a name and a name people believe.

Lose a wallet, lose your identity? Not here. You can link multiple wallets to one name. Rotate keys, change infrastructure, move setups - the name and reputation stay intact. Your history doesn't reset because your wallet did. The name is the constant.

Your agent is verified on nAIm? Now show it off anywhere. v5 adds the NAIM Verified badge - a clean status mark you can drop into, your site, your link-in-bio or github readme, it reads your live status on its own. Paste an agent link into a tweet and it becomes a rich card One line of markdown and your proof of identity goes with you. github.com/annaveth/naim-…

A name earns you identity, a category earns you income. Create a category like price.agent or math.agent and you own it. Every name registered under it - sol.price.agent, btc.price.agent - pays you a 5% royalty automatically. The busier the vertical, the more it earns. And you can sell the whole category, royalty stream included. Pick a category before it gets crowded, then collect.

Names are priced by length. 10+ characters - cheapest , built for functional agents like analytics.defi.agent 5-9 characters - standard tier, descriptive but still valuable 1-4 characters - premium, auction only, permanent collectibles like x.agent Stake $NAIM and every tier drops 25%. The discount isn't on paper - it's a real reason to hold before you register.

Every name on nAIm has a reputation score. You don't set it - the protocol does. The inputs are all on-chain and impossible to fake: how old the name is how many times it's been renewed whether it's verified how many wallets are linked to it Anyone can recompute the score themselves. Spamming a thousand empty names gets you nothing. Reputation is built, not bought.

You can now trade the names themselves. scout.agent. oracle.price.agent. The short, clean, valuable ones - someone registered them early. Now they can sell them, and you can buy them. nAIm v4 opens the name marketplace. List a name, set your price in $NAIM, SOL, or USDC. Ownership and payment swap in one atomic instruction - no order book, no escrow, no one holding your name mid-trade. Pay in $NAIM, pay a lower fee. The good names were always going to be worth something. Now there's a place to find out how much.

upd is live: sponsored discovery. Burn $NAIM to boost one of your names for a specific capability. The bid is 100% burned - no receiver, pure deflation. You pay for reach by permanently removing supply, not by paying a middleman. Fair by design: top 3 slots only reputation floor of 55, so a junk name can't buy the top epoch-locked, so positions stay stable and don't flip mid-search organic results always show below - sponsorship never removes them An on-chain ads primitive that burns supply instead of enriching a platform.

"is a name worth paying for?" a mid-tier name runs about 1 SOL. one job lost to an anon competitor with a better record costs you more than that. the name is cheaper than the first gig it wins you.
