i created this term in 2015 directly and i am credited for that by mars in the first interview article about it on vice/noisy lol i made a joke and everyone took it and ran with it lol

@maebichka Everyone saying it’s a mistake is crazy to me lol this is herstory.. I self-identified as an “art hoe” in high school w this aesthetic in mind, it was a tumblr thing. also a specific Black femme art collective that had huge aesthetic influence for tumblr girls in 2015
