Ok I can explain this to you, because unlike this bunch of losers I’ve worked in marketing. What we market to you is this: An identity you want > A product > A sale Doesn’t matter if it’s a teapot or a banking app. That’s what you do with an ad. Does it make you feel smart? Prestigious? In on the joke? Cool? Safe? That’s how advertisers think. If I say “This hat is cool, and good!” that’s a 2/10 ad. If I say “This hat is the hat you wear on holiday this year when the warm Italian sun floods the vineyards” that’s already put the hat on your head and a luxury holiday. Now, most people do not like racism. I know that’ll shock you because of Elon’s whack algorithm, but most people identify as “not a racist”. Easiest way to say to someone, look how open minded we are, and you are just like us? Diversity in an ad. It’s just sales. You’re just dumb so you see an “agenda”.

if this is a sustained pattern of events over a long period of time my theory is large object disrupted the kuiper belt and these are faster leaders of something larger that would be months behind. We've always had large notable meteor events but these SEEM unusual in frequency at least. Maybe its just the reporting but as a casual observer this seems like a notable combined sequence. Large atmosphere explosions globally. Could just be bullshitting though.

The point is the indie game costs nothing to make and provides just as much entertainment as a AAA game. That sounds like an exaggeration but some call of duty and halo games are 8-12 hours and these slop games about digging holes or whatever that cost $10-$20 can get 30-40 hours out of me sometimes. AND if the indie developer does well in sales they usually make a sequel that is much more enjoyable/an actual game AND you don't have to wait long to find out if that is going to happen, because they are incentivized by the sales they are seeking to strike while the iron is hot! AAA studios have that implication Disney does that their parks, movies and games are going to generate a guaranteed baseline shitzillion dollars every year. So they can release whatever the fuck and make money. No real push on Bethesda to make a NEW engine. A NEW generation of their gimmick. We are getting the same shit for 20 years now but they need to be motivated to innovate something again. The leap to fallout 3 was a good one. Fallout 4 and Starfield were basically the same game, good, but the same. Where is a new generation of the engine? A new engine? These games are costing hundreds of millions of dollars and take over a decade now. The fuck is happening?

Trekkies can correct me, but it must be a very common opinion that one of the main ways Star Trek so cleverly solved the problem of portraying a utopian future, that being the inevitable sense of paralysis and stultification in such a morally excellent society, was by evincing an imperialistic ethos of discovery whereby barbarous worlds as foil could be encountered and placed under the microscope of the Federation's higher moral standards. Whether in Earth's past or in distant zones of the universe, the utopian society acts as universal critic but what interests me is that it is these other, lesser societies that are the only escape such a utopian science fiction can have from stalling under the weight of its own perfection.

Instinctual judgement without cognition. Mentioning (Noun) like a name or a thing or a brand immediately sets someone off. Very crude. Racists, sexists, etc. Also the people that confuse all criticism with whatever their personal demon is that triggers them like that. People have to be able to objectively assess information, regardless of implication. I read stuff that is fake all the time because I'm not stupid and don't fall for it. I read offensive shit all the time. I argue with these toxic people in online games and servers whenever they pop up (everywhere all the time.) Its really easy to judge things on the arguments and specifics without barking like a dog because its comfortable. I think its all tied together but I think dumb/weak people feel powerful when angry or outraged at a more heightened level than most people. As conditions worsen for everyone making these stupid snap judgements are also doing it extremely angrily. In the case of certain teams or parties or celebrities people are going psychotically overboard in rage at them. Probably for the attention they get from the crowd on social media. Same way streaming, online criticism about movies and gaming on youtube or whatever else all lean negative. The outrage is cathartic and people want to watch it. It's an interesting sociological concept but it sucks that apparently the majority of the population don't even actually have a basic level of introspection or cognition for their opinions. They chase their particular car. That just decides all of our fates through the vast majority of voters just hitting the button with a wood club and driving their car with their feet on the way home.

Horizontal scale is a little left out there but the only sensible answer is Borderline C/D and 5.5. You aim lower you risk spray outside the bottom depending on initial cooperation of the fixture and stream. Aim higher than that and you risk an untapped oil well blowoff on the toilet itself, getting spray there. Needs to be like how they train cops. Center mass. You get that weird fuzz stream splitter that causes multi-stream you need a wide radius on all sides of the target to account for that. Hot take but people aiming in urinals are dirtying their hands for no reason. I still wash constantly due to industry and health concerns but all you need to do in a urinal, that can take almost any configuration of piss, up to and including some variety of bucket, you do not need to both hands it. Thats weird to me but apparently I'm the weird one for crossing my arms and waiting. Weirdos.

this attitude is why the problem has gotten so bad you are barking like a dog because someone criticized veterans. With context plenty of veterans, politicians and people in the industry are very open about the problem. That is made worse by shutting down talk of it with "YOU HATE R TROOPS."

You should start by visiting your local recruiter's office. If you won't do that, or, as it appears, you are medically disqualified, I recommend you write to your Congressmen and Senators to have them change the laws that very clearly and explicitly define what constitutes specific disability compensation ratings and how those ratings are calculated. Keep in mind, I (and every other vet) made a bet with our nation: I will sign on the dotted line, and, if I make it to the end of my service, I will have earned certain benefits (including those offered by the VA). If not? I get a military funeral, and my wife gets a folded flag. The fact that you are going out of your way to find the <1% who may have defrauded the system is an interesting thing for someone who has never made the aforementioned bet to do. Now, why do we offer such benefits? Because we are an all-volunteer military, and these kinds of benefits are what is required to attract and retain the kind of talent that is required to defend this nation and your right to sh!t all over them with your baseless accusations.

That is the grey area the scammers exploited. Because if someone gets hit by shrapnel or falls off something or even just kicked or moves wrong or whatever if they have actual provable nerve issues like that due to their service? 100% coverage no complaints. It's that the exception, created like that on paper, is actually just a blanket "Disability" ticket. The standards are low and doctors usually prescribe it on a subjective report of issues. Because they aren't watching you fuck with a clipboard. Therefore the "Someone was seriously fucked and needs help" money is "Any man who wants to can try to get disability payments by saying a magic phrase that no one questions because of their job class "Veteran."

Military Disability fraud is rampant. You can claim erectile dysfunction and get a check, as it’s a recognized disability. I’m sorry, but unless you served in combat, you shouldn’t get disability.

It's also why veteran healthcare struggles so much. Every person who is "Disabled"* has to still see doctors for prescriptions and sign offs on things and whatever else. They are medically fine and may not need an actual doctor for years but through the grift have created constant medical dependency. At the very least monthly visits. The way healthcare companies define prices the quantity lost on these expenses (just huge bills for no reason making everyone sicker by distracting what resources aren't wasted by a corrupt government.) People are fine with veterans with actual health problems covered but it seems like everyone has an anecdote about the college/IT/logisitcs/etc person who also has 100% and just hasn't had a job in 10+ years. Spending hundreds of billions to idle millions of people. Sucks that it is an abuse of the respect we are supposed to have for veterans. The unquestioned nature of things is why its such a problem. Even handling it now will be a problem.

If you think the Somali fraud is bad, buckle up for the forthcoming reckoning over VA fraud. Nobody wants to talk about it because it inherently requires criticizing “veterans,” but the problem isn’t going to fix itself. There’s an entire cottage industry that helps “veterans” defraud the VA at the expense of veterans that are actually disabled. The culture has become so toxic and entitled that ALL veterans are advised to pursue a VA disability rating, regardless of the nature of their service. In fact, there’s now people joining specifically to pursue easy, lifetime “disability” payments. This behavior is enraging to people who are, or know, genuinely disabled veterans.
Paul@WomanDefiner

I am begging someone, anyone to clean up the disability fraud in the VA. This guy was a Navy reservist who went to school for the Government and got out after 2 years with disability benefits for anxiety and depression. This has to end.

The FRAUD wasn't encouraged. There is a reverence for veterans that everyone had/is supposed to have. Out of respect for them volunteering to do what we don't want to do (unspecified defense of country) we were supposed to idolize/give them things. It makes sense ...for people actually disabled when doing this FOR us. However this apparently turned into a bunch of rules lawyering where there are on-paper percentages of disability with clearcut ways of getting through to the point that pretty much anyone can claim to be disabled and BECAUSE they are a veteran, the thing that is being celebrated, the fraud gets worse. Even touching this is hard because politicians will scream "MUH VETERANS" and you would actually be taking billions of dollars from real veterans by doing anything about this. Who knows how much was real actual fraud and how much wasn't but everyone will be mad about it.

Military Disability fraud is rampant, but for some reason is ignored, allowed… and even encouraged. This kind of obvious cheating ruins the system for those who actually need it: heroes who served our country honorably and were injured in the process.

The is the exact mentality I was referencing. I wasn't just ranting at phantom liberals. #Metoo was a big deal everywhere right up until Joe Biden was outed for raping Tara Reade. Then when these greasy liars were faced with morals they chose to defend the rapist because he is on their team and is "less evil" than the person they are worried about. So this poster and the democrat party enthusiastically supported and elected a known rapist because they didn't give a shit about the fact he did it. They just wanted to stop Trump. This dumbass STILL doesn't. "Biden raped Tara Reade?!? BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBUUUUTTTT TTRRRRUUUMMMPPPPP" It's an indication of a bias so deep / intelligence so low they are engaging on the level of an average bird or something. Pecking at topics without understanding them. Whatever sounds most recently prompted an action from them form their opinions. Its such a huge problem because these people are weaponizing the courts to do it. So all of these selective prosecutions that are establishing dark precedents (cases without plaintiffs invented by prosecutors)(laws changed to create crimes)(dozens of felonies for someone elses signature in a book dozens of times.) By the precedent of these assmad toddler people we can just frogmarch obama and hilldawg out of their mansions because the state of texas is mad about something that wasn't illegal until they decided to prosecute it. No democrat should have any complaints about that happening. "Nobody is above the law" so Alabama can handcuff Kamala Harris and walk her into the jail because a District Attorney invented a case with no plaintiffs. Perfectly fine. Nobody above the law.

The "manosphere" is idiots that found an audience that will pay them money for their performance. The audience is the leftover men that have had to deal with the generation of women that feminism ruined so there can be a lot of bitterness. The performing jesters play into it. You thinking everything must be a secret expression of personal/individual issues though is part of the difference in thinking that fueled the original problem. Your grandma making the same point probably wouldn't be a combative asshole about it and she definitely didn't die alone with cats because she substituted hating men for a personality so hard every man would rather die than be around her.

They were cool with Joe Biden raping Tara Reade so what exactly do you expect? Enforcement has always been selective. Every court case against him is the definition of selective prosecution. Biden had documents. Clinton had documents. Scale doesn't matter it was the same violation of the same law. Celebrities and everyone else does the same Real Estate moves in New York. Prosecuting that action the way they prosecuted Trump would destroy the city. They don't care about hypocrisy.

Rough case since both pilots aren't the best. The Gathering is a lil off-tone, lower budget and weird and SG-1s was made for cable so it has nudity and a different tone. I guess start with Babylon 5 first since its only 5 seasons. SG-1 is 10 in a 17 (and growing) season canon and the third episode (second after pilot) is the worst in the series so its a rougher start.
