I had a dream last night that basically an auditorium full of people were telling me how much they hated me. I have chronic nightmares, and this one just hit a little close to home right now. I don’t have a support system at all… my mind knows that, my body knows it.

I am so glad I got to be at the Senior Night of these special young women! I left earlee before I got teary-eyed, I mean, allergies. What an honor it was to coach them, feed them, and listen to them sing. I will miss them, but don't tell them that! 😄❤️

not to be sentimental but I think it’s beautiful that libraries exist and are free and that we can use them. I love that there are so many bookish folk who are always reading and learning. I’m so glad to live in a world where there are books.

My life: for decades I wrote novels for teens, about teens, advocating teens. Then -- call it karma? -- a teenage girl read some of those novels and spearheaded making #EnolaHolmes into a movie that changed my life. No longer must I struggle to pay the mortgage. Thank you, MBB.
